INTERVIEW

Thorough support
even for the inexperienced
Joined in 2019 / Manufacturing Group,
Nobuhide Shimonaka

The reason for joining the company

I received a scouting email during my job search from my previous job.
Originally from the transport industry, I was interested in gaining various experiences.
Although it was a career change from a different industry, the company supported me in obtaining necessary qualifications.
During the interview, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the factory and the comprehensive welfare benefits provided, even on holidays.

About current job responsibilities

My main role involves manufacturing pipes, but sometimes I also install the manufactured pipes at the site. We alternate between factory and site teams, ensuring smooth operations.
Seeing the products we’ve made in actual operation at the factory makes me feel like we’ve really helped our customers.

What are the good points about Tsukasa?

One of the best aspects is having vacation time despite being busy, and being recognized as a ‘Certified Health and Productivity Management Organization.’ We also undergo specialized health examinations, especially important for welding-related jobs.
The policy of never pushing too hard is greatly appreciated. I participate in internal events, and the atmosphere is pleasant. We hold internal training sessions and study groups within each department, and there are also external seminars once a year.
Looking ahead, I hope to continue acquiring new skills while handling daily tasks. I aim to adapt to customer designs effectively.
